This is Verdicchio di Matelica.

One of the oldest Italian native wines and the first D.O.C. Marche recognized in 1967. Straw yellow. On the nose aromas of pineapple, grapefruit, apple, lime flowers and hawthorn.
On the palate great elegance, fresh and mineral, for an impeccable expression of the territory. Balanced and with a pleasant citrus finish.

Ideal with fish and white meat dishes, also with a good structure, with typical Marche cold cuts and with middle-aged cheeses. Fried brine on a bed of vegetables.
